Toys For One Year Olds
I am looking for some interesting and fun toys for one year olds, can you recommend any for someone on a budget?
With so many manufacturers and brand out there, it is really quite difficult to choose from such a wide array of these toys. However, having children of our own means we have pretty much seen it all. With that in mind we have narrowed it down to our top 5 favorite toys for a one year old baby.
Haba Fantasy Blocks – this is one of those old classics that has been around for quite some time and many parents will probably remember playing with them when they were younger as well. These blocks really help to stimulate your baby’s sense of creativity and best of all can keep him busy for hours on end, day after day. These blocks have won numerous awards including the Preferred Choice Creative Child Magazine award and Dr. Toys top 100 best toys. You can find these in stores or online for under $40.
Playskool Busy Ball Popper – this is really a simple toy, but it keeps many babies quite busy and excited as well. They simply place the colorful balls in the chute and watch them magically pop back up again! Most babies squeal with delight and wonderment the first time they play with the Busy Ball Popper and the price is just right at $20.
Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Piggy Bank – this toy consistently receives glowing reviews because like the Busy Ball Popper it is simple, yet extremely engrossing for babies. In fact, many older toddlers love this toy as well. It comes with 10 colorful coins they can place in the piggy bank, and as they do so it plays songs and educates them about animals, counting and other fun activities.
Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon - just about everyone had one of these growing up and this great classic still looks as good as ever.
