Kegel Exercises During Pregnancy

These are really simple exercises to do and can be done almost anywhere. To find your kegel muscles, you can insert a finger into your vagina and squeeze it, or you can practice stopping the flow of your urine to locate exactly where they are. You will essentially be able to feel these muscles around your vagina and anus.

You want to tense these muscles and try and hold them for up to 10 seconds. Then try to perform about 15 to 20 reps each time. You will want to attempt to do these exercises three times a day.

Try not to cheat and use any of your abdominal or buttocks muscles when you are doing these exercises.

The best thing about these exercises is that they can be done virtually anywhere. You can do them while sitting at your desk, while waiting in line at your favorite store, or even when you are resting in bed. Whenever and wherever you decide to do them is entirely up to you.

Just remember not to overdo these exercises and strain yourself, and never attempt to do them whenever you have a full bladder.
