How much should a 2 month old weigh? My baby seems to be a little heavy and I am worried that perhaps I am over feeding her.

Many parents are worried about the weight of their babies at one point or another. It is quite difficult not to be concerned in many instances that your baby is either underweight or overweight, for a variety of reasons. However, in most cases your baby is more than likely going fit into the normal range of weight for an infant her age.

Also, keep in mind that babies grow and develop in their own individual way, so while a baby may be underweight or overweight at a certain age, most of them generally level off and eventually reach the average percentile for both their weight and height.

2 Month Old Baby Weight

A typical baby boy will weigh around 11 pounds at two months, while a baby girl will generally average around 10.5 pounds.

This of course all depends upon the initial birth weight and length of your baby. The range for this age is between 8 to 14 pounds.
