Does Having A Baby Hurt?
My expected due date is growing closer and I am becoming more and more anxious, can you tell me, does having a baby hurt us much as they say?
This is probably one of the most popular questions that my readers ask and there really is no answer that can be set in stone and given to anyone who wonders about this issue.
Does Giving Birth Hurt
The simple fact of the matter is that all women have various levels of pain tolerance, which is why you hear countless stories about delivery and labor, some good, some bad and some unbelievable. Some women will tell you that it was an absolute nightmare and one of the most painful experiences that they ever went through. Others will tell you that it wasn’t nearly as difficult as they had feared and the pain they felt was not very significant.
This of course is not only because some women have very different pain tolerances, but each birth is different, as some expectant mothers are in labor for hours on end, while others can have their babies within an hour or two of being admitted to the hospital. So it only stands to reason that if a woman is pushing for hours on end, that she may look back on the experience in a more negative way than a woman who was able to push her baby out almost immediately.
Shockingly, many women have trouble explaining just what having a baby feels like after giving birth. Others say that it feels like a ring of fire, but the pain was never more than they felt they could tolerate.
All in all, if giving birth was so excruciating and the pain was so mind numbing, most women would not want to give birth again. However, there are literally millions of women around the world who have given birth more than once. In the end it all comes down to your pain tolerance, how long your labor lasts, and how well you are able to use the pain management techniques you learned throughout your pregnancy
