Now that men are starting to take more responsibility with buying baby products and clothing before their child is born, we have decided to share some couples baby shower ideas that you should keep in mind if you plan on having the father to be in attendance. Coed showers are starting to become much more popular, even more so than they were just a decade ago. Of course, traditional baby showers are still predominate, but we think that in time this tradition may start changing as more and more guys become accepting of the fact that there’s nothing wrong with baby showers for men.

If you want to make coed baby shower as much fun as possible, there are a few simple rules that you should follow, to make it more comfortable for the new dad. These include:

•    Ensuring that he will not be the only guy at the shower.
•    Make sure that the theme of the shower is something he will be comfortable with
•    Have him take part in the baby product registration process
•    Allow him to have a say in other things besides just the theme, including the games that will be played and the menu as well.

Keep in mind that many guys may find such things as baby shower games to be quite silly, and if he is unwilling to budge on things like this and it is not something that is important to you, scratch it off of the list.

Also be aware of making a shower date on such days as Sundays in autumn, when football games may be on. You want to plan a shower around the time when most guys will be more willing to attend, helping to ensure that father to be does not feel so outnumbered by women and feeling like he is out of place.
