Best Bottle Warmer
I am 8 months pregnant and am planning to bottlefeed my baby, can you tell me what you feel is the best bottle warmer on the market?
Ah, is there a better baby product that you can buy than the bottle warmer? As any parent will tell you, this is almost an essential item if you are using formula or expressing breastmilk. While many parents try to forego the cost of buying a warmer, they quickly find out that it is almost a necessity.
While it is possible to warm the bottle under hot tap water, this can take quite awhile (Please note that you cannot put the bottle in a microwave to warm it). However, when you have a screaming baby who wants to be fed immediately, having a bottle warmer that works in minutes can be a lifesaver.
Best Baby Bottle Warmer Brands
We use an Avent baby bottle warmer for our daughter and are extremely happy with it. With that said, we have a number of friends and family who swear by their brands as well. I have listed what seems to be the consensus of many parents on the best bottle warmers below.
Avent – this line of bottle warmers is one of the top brands out there. Their models vary, but in general the prices range between $30-100. We personally have the Express Bottle Warmer and it was worth every penny we paid (we bought it for around $45).
Tommee Tippee – this is another top brand that always gets positive reviews from other parents and has really carved out a niche of reliability and trust. Their line includes simple bottle warmers and more sophisticated ones as well. We are actually considering their travel warmer as using a thermos with hot water isn’t doing the trick anymore!
Dr. Brown – this brand rivals the two above and we have heard some very positive things about their warmers. Dr. Brown also has an array of models to choose from, including their Deluxe model which retails for around $60.
I really don’t think you can go wrong with any of the brands above. My best advice is to buy a mid tier model and not pay for all of the fancy features that come with the more expensive ones (unless you feel you need them). You may also want to consider a travel bottle warmer as well if you are constantly on the go like us.
