Baby Boy Toys
I have been trying to find some baby boy toys for my infant, but he quickly becomes bored with many of the toys that I am buying. I am starting to spend a significant amount of money on these toys, only to give them away to friends and family members. Can you suggest a few toys that would keep my baby boy interested for longer than a few days?
We hear from parents all of the time who are looking for toys that will keep their babies interested, but the problem is it is not always easy to know which toys will appeal to your baby or not until you actually fork out the money for them. However, there are a few toys I have used with my own children that almost always end up being winners. I have listed a few below to help get you started:
Lamaze Musical Inchworm – I have pretty much gone out of my way to sing the praises of the Lamaze toy line in past articles, and this of course is one of my favorite toys from their activity line. This musical toy has vibrant colors and a number of various textures for your baby to feel. When you squeeze on the inchworm’s mouth, he lights up and plays soothing music that will help calm many fussy babies. You can find him online for under $15.
Around The World Play Gym By Baby Einstein – every parent knows how frustrating it can be whenever you try everything to soothe a crying baby. In the past when I have tried using just about every toy I have at my disposal to calm my fussy baby, I end up putting him in the baby Einstein gym and he instantly calms down. This toy above all others usually keeps him entertained longer than anything else my wife and I have bought for our son. You can generally find this gym for right around $50.
Hohner Toddler Music Band – this is an absolute winner that will also keep your baby quite entertained for hours on end. We all know that babies love to make noise and this is right up their alley. This set comes with five different musical instruments, including a rattle and a drum. The only drawback to this toy is of course the amount of noise that it makes, but it is much better than listening to a screaming baby. I know of many parents who will gladly take this trade off every day of the week!
All of the toys above are not budget busters, and you can get all of them for at least $50 or below. The best thing about all three of these toys is the fact that they will keep your baby not only entertained, but they are also educational as well.
